What is buffer tank?

Buffer tank is actually a container that increases the total operating water volume of the system, increases the storage of cold or heat, effectively solves the load fluctuation and frequent startup of the host brought about by the system is too small, so as to achieve the purpose of prolonging the life of the equipment and saving energy and electricity. The round container which is not too big or too small is the buffer tank when Juteng Air Source installs the heating machine for the user in the picture below.

What does a buffer tank do?

Not using a buffer tank will result in frequent start-ups and stops of the main unit

Due to the limited amount of circulating water in the loop, it will cause the host to reach the design temperature in a very short period of time, the host will stop working, and then again in a very short period of time, the water temperature drops to reach the host's start-up conditions, the host starts again, so frequent start-ups will consume the host's service life and waste of electricity. Therefore, not only need buffer tank, and the capacity of the tank is better.

High-efficiency defrosting, shortening defrosting time, stabilising terminals

In the winter low temperature environment, especially between -3 ℃ to 5 ℃, this time the air energy host frost is very obvious, if the water system has a small amount of water, then the defrosting time will increase, and it will cause the water temperature in the pipeline to be low, and the defrosting effect is not good. If the buffer tank is added, then in the process of defrosting, because there is a certain temperature in the water tank, so that the frost can be completed in a short period of time, and the consumption of heat is also small, to avoid fluctuating changes in the indoor temperature due to the host defrosting, for the stabilisation of the system's end effect is very large.

Ensure that the water flow of the system is smooth, complete the automatic exhaust, to avoid the unit to report faults

When the tank is placed in the return system, the circulating water from the upper part of the tank into the lower part of the discharge, so that the gas in the water will accumulate in the upper space of the tank, the pressure in the closed system will automatically force the gas from the upper exhaust valve discharge, in this case the buffer tank bottom outlet access to the suction of the tank because of the absence of gas, so not only to protect the pump's impeller, but also to allow the system to be free of gas, to ensure that the host computer Normal work. If there is no buffer tank, then the presence of gas will cause the host sometimes flow switch failure and high pressure alarm.

Allows the system to be drained more thoroughly, preventing clogging of the system

As the air source is through the water cycle to conduct heat, so it is inevitable to produce some impurities in the whole circulation system, these impurities will slowly accumulate to the bottom of the buffer tank through the cycle, after the Y filter, the water quality of the water pump will become better, thus reducing the cleaning of the Y filter, and at the same time reducing the failure rate of the equipment to extend the service life.
