1// Installation of air source main unit

①The installation of the air source host has the same requirements as the installation of the outdoor unit of the air conditioner. It can be installed on the external wall, roof, balcony and ground. The air outlet should avoid the windward direction.

②The distance between the host and the water storage tank should not be more than 5 meters, and the standard configuration is 3 meters. The distance between it and the surrounding walls or other covering objects should not be too small. The mainframe should be installed in a place with solid foundation and make sure to install it upright and fix it with ground bolts.

③ If a canopy is installed to protect the air source from the wind and sun, care should be taken to ensure that the heat absorption and dissipation of the heat exchanger of the main unit is not hindered.

2// Installation of water storage tanks

①The water storage tank can be installed outdoors with the air source outdoor unit, such as balcony, roof, ground. The water storage tank must be installed on the ground, on a solid foundation, and must be able to withstand the weight of 500kg, and must not be hung on the wall.

②Near the water tank, as well as the water pipe and hot water pipe connections are equipped with valves.

③Installation must have a floor drain or drain, to avoid cleaning the tank drainage or maintenance of drainage, overflow water to the room.

3// Water connections

① Connect one end of the check valve/pressure relief valve to the mains water pipe and the other end to the tank inlet receiver.

Note: The outlet of the water storage tank must be connected to a section of PPR pipe of more than 1.5 meters.

②Fill water: open the tap water inlet valve, open the hot water pipe in the outlet faucet. Begin to fill the water, until the faucet has water overflow for filling, close the faucet. Close the faucet. Check the water storage to make sure there is no water leakage.

Note: Before plugging in the power supply for the first time, you must make sure that the insulation tank is filled with water.

4// Refrigerant pipe connection

①Check the pressure of the water tank coil bailout, use a screwdriver to top the inflatable check valve, there will be a sonic boom. If there is no sonic boom, please contact the manufacturer.

②Remove the head cap on the water tank thick and thin connecting pipes, screw the thick and thin connecting pipes to the fittings on the water storage tank thick and thin connecting pipes respectively, and tighten them firmly with a wrench.

③Unscrew the caps of the thick and thin connecting pipe mouths of the host high-pressure valve and low-pressure valve, screw the other end of the thick and thin connecting pipe to the inlet of the work quality of the water tank, and the thick and thin connecting pipe of the outlet of the water tank, and tighten it firmly with a wrench (Note: the thick pipe connects the three-way valve to the upper connector of the water tank).

Note: Try not to bend the copper pipe, even if it is twisted, do not deflate or fracture the copper pipe.

5// Electrical connections

①The socket must be reliably grounded.

②The capacity of the power socket should meet the current and power requirements of different models of the host.

Note: The power outlet must be reliably grounded.

③Install the water temperature sensor probe into the probe tube in the middle of the water tank and fix it.

④ The control panel should not be installed in the bathroom so as not to affect the normal operation, it is recommended to install it near the commonly used light switch and reserve the bottom box.

6// Pipe evacuation

①Remove the nut on the three-way stop valve of the main unit of the water heater.

②Connect the vacuum pump to the three-way stop valve of the main unit of the water heater, and the vacuum is pumped to the position of -1, which means that the vacuum is normal.

1// Installation location of the water heater

①The installation location must be sufficient to bear the weight of the water heater, and the operation noise and discharged air and condensation will not affect the neighbors. ② The installation location is well ventilated, with enough space for air intake and maintenance, and no obstacles at the air inlet and outlet to ensure unobstructed airflow circulation.

2// Installation location of control panel

Avoid rain and sunlight exposure, it is recommended to install side by side with commonly used light switches, close by for easy access.

3// Need to have drainage facilities

Installing an air source water heater has condensate discharge during use, so the installation location should have a floor drain, guttering and other facilities that can be drained.

4// The water temperature probe must not be moved at will

The water temperature probe must not be detached from the tank temperature detection blind tube, so as not to cause the unit heater to overheat and damage the unit.

5// Selection of fuse

Do not substitute copper or iron wire, which may cause malfunction or fire.

6// Leakage protection switch

The customer should install leakage protection switch with equal power and good grounding performance.
